I have posted in the last 2 contests and neither photo was listed to be voted for........are some photos not eligible for voting or are my photos just that bad?

Not sure. But your photo must meet all the rules listed to qualify. Most frequent infraction is posting a photo that is too large. Read over the rules and be sure your photo meets all of them.

The rules say only photos that are smaller than 800x600 are allowed (or is that 600x800?).

Yours from the Resort contest was 1024x683.

I see your pic from the live animals contest. Not sure why it would not be in there. You did have a messed up link in there, but your pic showed just fine as well. It is not too large for the contest. That is the most frequent problem, but yours is fine.

I see NEVERENOUGH had problems getting the photo to show up. The bee photo was not there when I put the contest together Monday morning so the post got skipped.

Unfortunately with the size the contest has grown too (70+ entries the past few weeks, 80+ last week, 50+ this week and it's only Tuesday) so double checking just isnt practical. It's not a problem that can be easily corrected either because polls cannot be edited.

Either is fine. For simplicity and consistency I count pixels rather than measure the longest edge so if anyone wants to try posting a 480000x1 photo, it will slip right by me.
