No wonder this all sounds familiar I work on 39th and 7th :lmao:
They closed the Disney store yeras ago opened a small one by the Lion King show and since closed that as well why would they open a new :confused3
1996 :lmao:

It's interesting to note the changes:

The hotel has long since been built (I think that was the Westin NY at Times Square).

The New Amsterdam theater has long since been renovated (The Lion King debuted there in '98).

The "adult oriented" businesses were driven out of Times Square (that had already begun in '96, but was pretty much complete by '98 - '99).

The large Disney stored opened, closed, a smaller version right next to the New Amsterdam opened....and it, too, closed.

It's interesting to note the changes:
and ... Urban timeshare is gaining traction -- with NYC being one of the most expensive. Demand for the few there (Manhattan Club, Royal Holiday and Hilton?) is strong.

I sure wish DVC had continued with its original plans on that front ...

I can only guess at what the original post was about. But both Hilton and Hyatt are building new timeshares in Manhattan.
