Postcards from Castaway Cay never make their destination???

We were on the 6/26/05 Wo nder cruise and we sent postcards to everyone from the post office at Castaway Cay and none of our friends or family have gotten them yet! Is that post office that unreliable???

We're still waiting for a couple from 11/2002.

It takes a LONG time to get them. I think the ones I sent took almost 3-4 weeks.

Don't give up.

We've mailed from there twice. I think it took about 6 weeks. I know it was long enough that I had forgotten about it and got a real pleasant surprise in the mail.

The one we sent to our home took 5 weeks. It was a nice surprise when it arrived.

Thanks for starting this thread. We plan on send the kids a postcard in September. Now I know not to get alarmed if it takes a while.

Last time I went it took 14 months to receive the cards!

They run on Bahamian time. OUrs took about 5 weeks!

I guess we were lucky, each time we sent postcards from CC they each took just three weeks to arrive at their destination.

I am waiting on one that was mailed from the June 5th Wonder! We are dying to tell our boys, but we were going to let the postcard spring the news In 14 months...we will be looking back at the pictures (and be ready to go again! )

There is frequently a thread on this...make sure you put "USA" on your address.

From the 6 cruises that I have sent postcards from Castaway Cay, I'm happy to report that every single one of them arrived at their intended destination.

Now sometimes it took several weeks but they did arrive.

It was mailed from CC on June 7th...so it took about 5 weeks.

It was worth the wait
