A dear friend's 9 year old cousin has been battling a brain stem tumor for nearly 9 months. Unfortunately, Mason is starting to lose his battle. His mom had a great idea - to try to get Valentine's or postcards from all over the United States or world for Mason and his brother and sister. (Mason is a huge fan of geography.)
He only has a few weeks left to live at most, but so far he has received many, many cards and as they arrive, they are putting heart shaped stickers on a map of the US as well as the world. It is really making a difference to this family, as the mailman coming to their house is a time for the family to come together and enjoy....
If you are interested in helping, send me a PM and I'll send you his address. His mom is asking that you sign your card or postcard with your city and state since sometimes the postmark on the envelope gets smeared.
