Postcards for a 5th grade class

DD's class is participating in the Great American Mail Race but so far, they haven't received any mail (Schools register online and students choose a school in their assigned state and request info from that state.) So I asked the teacher if I could turn to my DIS friends for postcards and she was thrilled!

So, if you would be willing to send a post card from a US state to their class, it would be greatly appreciated. Any info you'd like to share about your state would be an added bonus. PM me and I will give you the mailing info. Thank you so much from Miss Burns and her class!!

Ellen: What about some from overseas? I'm heading to Europe in 2 days and will be hitting 4 different countries along the way. I could send some from there also.

My BIL is in the Air Force and they might have some from the base too. It might be a big boost for the class if they get one from a US Military base.

Delaware here. I'd be glad to pass on some info. My sister is a 4th grade teacher and has to teach Delaware history so I could get some information on the state and send it on if you'd like.


ETA: I remember doing this in 3rd grade and each student had 2 states they had to contact for information. I had California and Kentucky. I remember I received something from California in a timely manner but nothing from Kentucky. Anyway, weeks went by and I received my original letter back and I realized I had addressed it to Kentucky, Frankford not Frankford, Kentucky and it had stamps on it from Germany.
