Postcard PIN question

I received a postcard with a PIN postmarked to my address but with my daughter's fiancee's name that travelled with us last year.

Can I use this for my family although it does not have my name? I'm the poor soul that books and pays and could use a break as we never received one in the past.

I don't really know what kind of discount it would give - how does one tell? I usually book two rooms and we still have park passes from last year so room only is all we need.

As long as the person who's name it is sent to is listed in your "household" with disney you can use it. Depending on the code it could be from 20-30% off or so
