Postcard fir kids

Can someone tell me how long it takes to get mail from Castaway Cay? I had someone mail my kids a postcard from Castaway Cay about 2 1/2 weeks ago and they still haven't received it. We are leaving in 2 weeks and I made the mistake of telling them that they were going to be getting something in the mail concerning our trip and they run to the mailbox everyday looking for their mail? I was so hoping they would receive it before leaving on June 5th. Looks like it may not happen!

From what I read on these boards, mail can take over a month to be delivered from CC. Why not connect to the thread here on the cruise boards that Verandah Man has and have him mail out a postcard for the kids. If you tell him of your situation, that you are leaving so soon, I am pretty sure he could get them out to you very soon.

I am sorry I do not know how to link you to that thread but just scrool thru and you will see a thread titled, "Here's the thread to post requests for pre-cruise post cards for children", or you could send a PM to the Verandah Man, Andy. He is the best!!!

I know that Verandah Man routes his postcards through a friend in Florida. So, if you need a postcard ASAP, I will be happy to send a DCL one from Disneyland this weekend. Please PM or email me if you need one right away. Have a great trip!
