Postal Strike - October 07

Just thought i'd let anyone waiting for tickets know this latest royal mail strike info from BBC website.

"Its 130,000 Royal Mail members will walk-out for 48 hours between noon on Thursday, 4 October, and the same time on Saturday, 6 October.

A second 48-hour strike will take place from 0300 BST on Monday, 8 October, to the same time on Wednesday, 10 October."

Should be just about finished when my tickets are being sent out, but they'll still be clearing the back log for ages!! Apparently it will hit registered post this time too.

Oh bless you. Its horrible hearing about the strikes. It scares you doesnt it. I received mine must of been 3 weeks before I flew. Virgin were great. Fingers crossed your tour company will send them out earlier considering they have advance warning of the strikes.

We fly with Virgin 3 weeks tomorrow and I know that our tickets haven't been sent out yet. Now I'm beginning to worry!

When i went on holiday in 2005 and they had a postal strike and i was worried and phoned virgin, she told me not to panic as they are always kept informed about upcoming strikes and try to avoid them as much as possible and try to send tickets out early, that year i got me tickets 3 and a half weeks before going.
