Snuck in enough time to get to this today and I just have one more embellishment and then my group is done!
She is fawn - her name is Lacey. She came to us from Pug Rescue of New England last May after I lost my beloved pug Violet...Check out my blog for pics. Some day I'll have a little blackgoodvibes I
pugs
Ok I did these and I like them but I'm not sure if I should do more with the squares. I went the generic approach and I may have enough paper to do another piece too since it's just one small group, but not certain.
The letters on the squares are letter and shadow cut. The first layer is paper from the oriental stack and the back is metallic bronze. Same paper on the lyric. Do those of you in the dog element group think the letterrs need something else? the first mat is graduated colors so I didn't ink or anything. I could do brads on them but then it might not look right - need advice!
thanks

Even though it is graduated colors - I think inking the top layer on squares would be the right thing to do or add the brad to all of them. Even though it isn't the same paper being inked, it would still tie the squares into the lyrics better. The lyrics look good the way they are.
I'm throwing all sorts of ideas around in my head. Would it be bad if I asked the dogs names in the elements?

Thanks guys I got everyone! I am going to an all day scrap on Saturday so hopefully I will get them done and maybe mailed out. Now I made this mistake in my last swap I didn't realize everything had to be the same........does every item have to be the same? Besides the names or dog types or can we just do whatever comes to fancy?
I am more relaxed in this requirement that some. Some swaps are conducive to acceptable variety and some are not. This one is. The surprise swap was. Most park swaps are not. Those should be Xnumber of the same thing. So will the Super Sports and More swaps. Those should be as close to the same as possible.
As long as each grouping you make has the same quality, as long as you feel good to get back what you yourself made, if you are proud to put your name on it - I'm good.![]()
Means I have to take more photos. But this is a small swap. It'll be okay.
