Im sure there is probably a better place to ask this but I'd to order a grooms cake (the splash mountain cake I've seen here) for a dinner at Boma. How can I arrange that?

color me seriously annoyed with the whole DFTW wedding cake deal. I know cakes and big wedding cakes are $$$ but aren't these prices quite high?? i KNOW it's disney and all that but....

Not my wedding cake but I thought it was cute enough to post. I ordered this from Mikkel as a groom's cake for DH. He, along with everyone else really loved it! And it tasted good. it was chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. She modeled the cake topper off a picture I gave her and she really did replicate us!

Last minute I decided to switch our entire wedding cake and surprise DF with a Splash Mountain wedding cake. I don't have my professional pics yet but still wanted to share! It was made by GF Bakery and I didn't give them much direction... Here's what they came up with...

We both (and all our guests) loved it! When DH first saw it he thought it was just a decoration- he said it took him a minute to realize it was our cake He kept saying "I can't believe you did that!" (in a good way) I was very nervous about it but am glad I took a gamble on it!

someone needs to reassure me that that size cake can GENEROUSLY feed ~40 people.... ours is going to be mad hatter style and they all look gorgeous but smallish... i mean for a group!!

We had 21 people with our 2 tier mad hatter. Now DH and I ate 2 pieces each at the wedding and had them box up 2 pieces for each of us to go (so just for us we had 8 pieces) plus our 19 guests that means we got 27 slices out of the cake. I think a couple of our guests may have had 2 pieces as well. There was none left over other than the 4 pieces we took... so if you're a big cake eater I would go with a 3 tier for 40 people but I love cake

Had every intention of getting a plain white cake, but when I saw this one, the DF and I both looked at each other and said this is the cake!

I actually loved our cake. It tasted soooooo good!!! We just went with something that matched our colors, since our theme was basically "fall"

The reason the cake is so small is because it was mainly to make our Mother's happy so they got the whole cutting the cake photo op.

Our main sweet stuff was our dessert bar - which was a huge hit!

I had the elegant scrolls cake for our escape wedding and added our own topper. We had marble with milk chocolate mousse and chocolate with white chocolate mousse - both were delicious!

I told my WP that if the table cloth on my cake table was clouded I was going to get all bridezilla and have a 2 year old tantrum...stomping foot and everything!

I've made it VERY clear that I don't want this to both my WP and floral...I've told everyone that will listen.

I'm waiting on my BEO to make sure that it is on there.

I have finally started uploading pictures, so I can post now!! Our cake was the Destination Castle Cake. We got so many compliments on the cake, and it was delicious!

It shows pictures of both. Clouding is when they gather the material in "puffs" so the table cloth is not flat. HTH
