Post Your Wedding Cake

Beautiful cakes ladies.

Ever since I saw a Disney wedding special that showed the little minature cakes I had to have them. We had an at home reception where I had a bigger cake so these were perfect. Everyone got on that was either orange or blue. The orange and blue one was for the groom he had a special flavor. I thought that the flavoring would just be a little layer but really the whole bottem of the cake was filled with the flavoring! So good can not wait to go back for our anniversery and get another one. We didn't have a cake table because we wanted people to be surprised by the unique cakes.

DF picked out this cake. Our colors are turquoise and lime with zebra accent so the pink ribbon would be replaced with turquoise

And instead of roses, our cake topper would be this one in lime.

As for flavours....We have no clue yet.

I hope Disney can make this for us!

The cakes were like 22 per person. They had cheaper styles to.

They don't make the Mad Hatter in 2 tiers, which is interesting because that's sorta the point of the Mad Hatter style of cake. But maybe they can't do a lopsided layer that small!

The cake does have a couple layers of cake and frosting inside, if that's your concern. You can't have two different flavors of cake inside, though...

Here is couple showing our cake - again no professional pics yet....

I requested no clouding on the cake table as I really don't like it and I didn't think it would suit our cake but when we got there the GF staff had clouded the cake table. Loved our cake and the colors were great and matched out wedding colors. I also like that they choose to put it on a plain silver cake stand.

Sorry that the last one is a bit big I tried to resize but then it got too small

I can finally post my cake after lurking and looking at everyone else's...here's a photo from a guest, professional photos soon!

Not only is this cake beautiful, I love that the actual castle is peaking out above the cake castle!

I don't know if this has already been asked but did you have to pay extra for your cake? If you did what was the difference? By the way I loved your whole wedding report! It was great! You gave me so many great ideas.

i just learned what clouding was!!!! i will run wild straightening out table cloths if they cloud my cake!! heh!

i'm trying to work up ideas for a haunted mansion inspired grooms cake, but absent of being connected with the actual bakers, i seem to be coming up at loose ends. all the planner has done was INCLUDE it on our BEO (which i specifically requested for her NOT to do as it is to be a surprise) and puzzle over what a $200 haunted mansion "sheet cake" (words off the BEO) could possibly be.....

waiting to speak with our planner and hopefully get a direct connection to the bakers. i don't have photoshop and there are so many ways a HM cake could go, i hadn't really tried to draw anything up as of yet....

interestingly, not much of anything on the interwebs in the way of HM and cake.

Have you seen this cake I can not remember where I got the picture now but I saved it because I loved it. I am guessing not a cheap cake though.
