Thought I would add the new people. Met MissBelle, Astryd, and a few others last night in MissBelle's very nice room. Hope to see you all at VMK.

We were laughing about how we could get a whole bunch of Dis folks on at once, all go "green" and parade down Main Street to mystify people.

However, on the vmk fan site boards, they've had members told that advertising outside web sites is being discouraged. We might be told to remove dis from our sigs soon. (Kind of makes sense, seeing as they're trying to make it as difficult as possible to connect VMK screen names to real people, and here on this site and thread, we are making it a lot easier.)

I tried to add Dis member to my signature and it won't let me. It could just be my computer at work, VMK doesn't seem to like it to much.

It's definitely case sensitive (if it's still allowed at all). DIS has never worked, but Dis has worked before.

This is funny since vmkfansite.net is allowed to post thier fan site in the signature. I mean it makes sense because it deals with vmk, but why not allow other websites? All I have to say that if we are asked to remove the dis, then EVERYONE should have to remove theirs as well.

ok, an experiment (trying to teach myself how to use grep for fancy sorts and replaces, and which is why I thought the ~~~ would be helpful to leave in).

Bottom line is that there are 2 lists, sorted 1st by Dis name, and then by VMK name.

I probably won't do this too often, but for now, hope this helps people.
