Wow! I'm so excited. I got 4 tickets for $716 for 12/25- 1/1 from Pittsburgh. I had to cancel our June trip b/c I broke my foot, we would have been leaving today. This has really cheered me up. The only downside is we will be traveling in the early evening.

Got 3 rapid rewards to Orlando from Chicago and paid for one ticket $114 plus tax on Nov 21. The return was $93.00 each plus tax on Nov 27th.

$68 each way from Indy. I had some funds remaining from other flights lowering so I paid $203.20 for 5 tickets to Orlando, $471.60 for 6 tickets coming home and then booked DH on a next day flight through Airtran to Orlando (SW flight times were bad and more expensive) for $79.60.

Total $754.40 for 6 R/T tickets :thumbsup2

:)SWA prices PVD to MCO were SO MUCH better than I expected!! Three tickets Tuesday Nov.24th 5:35pm and Monday No.30th 6:35pm (both flights non-stop)total price $837.60. Not so good out of Boston :( One ticket (DS-senior at BU :) ) same dates,4:15pm to MCO and 2pm back to Boston $453.40. The only good thing is we arrive at MCO within 10 minutes of each other :dance3:. (no non-stops from Boston) Joan

3 RT tix BWI to MCO Dec 13-17, looking at $357.60. Come on mom, call me back so I can book....

Nov 21/09 4 tickets MCO to BUF (one way) $278.40 all in.

I am not faulting anyone here, only blaming myself. But many posts said SW would not open before 11am EST, and obviously that was incorrect.

We return home Sunday Jan 3rd, which is a very expensive day to travel. :sad2: I am an idiot not to check SW to see if it had opened until almost 11am. Oh well, we got $99 going DOWN on Dec 30, the Jan 3rd return was very high. (I had credits to use at least for most of it)

SEA - MCO, Wed 11/4 $119 OW
MCO - RDU, Sun 11/22 $97 OW
RDU - SEA, Fri 11/27 Black Friday $129 OW
:banana::banana::banana:

Total trip price is about $500 cheaper than I have found in all my looking over the past year. Plus, if you add on baggage fees on the other airlines, it's a WHOLE lot cheaper.

I wanted to fly out of/in to Houston Hobby since I only live 20 minutes from Hobby but fares were higher than I wanted to pay - $148.10/each way. I looked at Dallas Love and it was only $78.70/each way even though at least 2 of the flights stop in Houston! So, it was $69.40 cheaper/way/person to fly MCO to Dallas with a stop in Houston than to just get of off Houston. We have family in the Dallas area so we'll just drive up there and leave my car at their house.

Anyway, I got 3 RT tickets from Dallas for only $472.20. Would have been 893.10 out of Houston. The savings of $420 is worth the 4 hour drive to Dallas. If prices come down some to around $100/each way, I'll probably go ahead and switch to Houston but as of now, it's Dallas!

I got a quote of $1036.80 for 4 from MHT 12/17-12/27. For MHT, this is a decent price. I've gotten as low as $79/pp before all the fees in the past but that's the absolute lowest I've ever gotten. This is more typical and its' less than I paid in February. I got my first thing in the morning departure time and my end of the day return time, both direct. I should be happy.

I'm VERY frustrated though. I entered my Gift Cards and the system shows them being taken off my total. I entered all my passenger info and my credit card info and it keeps erroring. It won't let me book. :scared: I'm right now on hold with SWA hoping they can help me. I really don't want to lose this rate.

Update: I got through to SWA. I wasn't on hold for as long as they estimated which is good. What's bad is that I lost my rate. My flight down went from $109/pp to $144/pp so my total for 4 people is $1176.80. I could get my original rate if I don't mind arriving later in the day, but our family loves that really early morning flight and arriving at the hotel in time for lunch.

Well, folks, I'm holding out for awhile........I need 5 tix from PHL to MCO for 1/1 thru 1/8.......it's currently 99$ each way......totals $219 and change pp rt.......I've gotten much better from PHL...........even when gas prices were sky high I only paid $139 rt on SWA..........I'll be happy if I can get $189 total pp rt.

I got $102 each way ($225 RT) from KC - nonstoppers on Dec 7 and Dec 15. I've been checking there $ on and off for the past few months and then several times a day in the last 3 weeks. $99 is the lowest that I've seen. I can live with $3 more.

They changed the flight schedule for November... no evening flights to or from Pittsburgh/Orlando... so I am tryign to refigure my whole vacation.:confused3 $79 is the going rate right now, both directions, just trying to figure out whether to stay another night or leave earlier than i had planned.

$49 each way from Baltimore!

The prices from Baltimore are great. We are in DE so we normally fly out of Philly but almost all of the flights to/from Philly are $99. We will drive to Baltimore for that price difference! I'm not sure why this it is this way this go around - there is not normally much of a difference between Baltimore and Philly.

We're thrilled with our price and love the convenience of using SW out of BWI. It's almost as if you don't have to deal with the airport. Hopefully, it's not a long drive, but there are quite a few hotels which will let you park your car during your stay.

July 24-Aug 7. Buffalo to Orlando.....$556.80 for 4 return!!!!:cool1: $59 ea way!!!
