Well, I have a photo of part of a napoleon!! They are outstanding  that cream in between the layers is soooo delicious...

IMG_4351.jpg

This is a napoleon from the Boardwalk Bakery, very good but not as good as La Patisserie.

IMG_4473.jpg

I work in the food service business. I guarantee you, the one from France was made there at EPCOT. I can tell you for sure the opther one was shipped in frozen and pre-made. I've ordered and served them.

Sorry if I bursted anyone's bubble.LOL!
Blessings,
WInnie

So, my palate wasn't wrong! I knew that the one from La Patisserie was better

Ok..on the bottom its the very last thing. The rectangles next to the strawberry tarts

The are a light pastry with layers of cream (like a lasagna only for desert!)

Thank you both!! I think I remember debating between those and the chocolate mousse, and we got the chocolate mousse (which is also VERY good.) We'll have to get the Napoleon next time :thumbsup2 Thanks for the tip that it's better in France than at the Boardwalk Bakery too. Good to note!!

JC&Ali'sMom: I love your sig pic! So cute!! :goodvibes

mrzrich, Fantastic idea!!! Might I suggest that you recruit different DISers to compile a listing for a certain restaurant to keep from having many repeats of some restaurants and none on others?

I will volunteer to do one.

Slightly Goofy

OMG!!! This is as good as the Schoolbread! We have to order both now when we go. It is SUPER LIGHT...I guess thats where it gets its name.

The pastry is light and sugary and the filling is something like pureed berries infused in a light cream. Yummy!!!

DSC00555MBWDWphotos.jpg

That looks so good! Where do they sell them?

edit.... nevermind. I read a little further. lol This is on my list for Oct.!

Goofy,

That was my plan. I had made the picture menus their own thread, but the mods moved them here, which kinda defeats the purpose. I wanted the picture menu thread to be a place you could easily go to see the entire menu (or what the DIS has of it) in pictures.

The mods moved it here where they will get lost in a vast sea of food porn.
We'll keep on truckin though.

I'll do Brown Derby next...can you do Mama Melrose?

Missing Pictures of 2 of the appetizers. PM me if you have them.

mrzrich, I am working on Mama Melrose even though I do not have as many pics from there. Have to work at the local museum for a few hours today and will work on it some more tonight.

Feel free to edit whatever I post, anyone.

I think this deserves its own thread.

Since I am planning on taking my laptop to be able to show my hubby the foods available instead of my usual verbal description this makes a lot esaier and better.

Thank you for your work and good idea!

Slightly Goofy

Does anyone know what page the food contents is listed on? Is it possible to move it to the first page as they do one some other threads??

SG

slighty goofy
i suggest you and the other poster send a pm to the mods and explain why you would like the thread that has been proposed (and then moved over here)
be a new separate thread.

give a few reasons for your request.

it might happen that you get approval for it.

Macraven, I was thinking of you just the other day. I stopped to get gas somewhere and noticed a HD and popped in for some of my very first LG Mickey's!! I scanned the orange one you put in my door last September into my Disney file. I will treasure it forever as it is the first one I ever saw, in person.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will do that. I think others will feel similarly.

Here are some 'Ohana photos, but they are mostly drinks... there have been so many shots of the food that is brought around that I didn't even take them on this trip :confused3 I have some from last year though :) if anyone really wants to see them again.

So maybe this was more like photos from the Tambu Lounge than 'Ohana  (we did order them at Tambu and then took them to our table though)

Thanks, I have downloaded the pics and will insert them when I get back from the museum.

You are making DIS history. Just when I think we have done come up with all that is possible I am surprised, again!!:cutie:
