O-MY, that cheese sampler looks so good to me I was going to make a fast weekend trip just tot ry one BUT the web site says they change there menu weekly there. BUMMER!!!

That cheese platter looks soooo good. Trouble is it looks a meal in itself and I think I would fill up on it before the entree! :confused3 Wouldn't be able to help myself!

Oh yes the cheese platter was so good....as you can see they paired the cheese with something else that brought out the flavor like fruit or nuts. It was really good & thank heavens we had eaten a very light lunch & shared.

That is the thing about the California Grill.....they change the menu all the time so you never know if something that is your favorite will be on the menu the next time. But, it really is probably my favorite place to go.

These are my last few until our December trip. Guess I will have to live vicariously through everyone else's photos.

GEEZ...I live in Maine and have never tried this place. It is now on my "must do this summer" list! What else do they serve? I was thinking I had to wait until WDW in August for that LIME RICKEY!!! They sell a lime rickey at the Yarmouth Clam festival in July, but it doesn't have the raspberry in it...not as yummy.
Thay have lunch and breakfast stuff, sandwiches, burgers and stuff like that. They also sell ice cream and the best saltwater taffy I've had.

It all looks so good.

Does anyone have a pic of the fruit and cheese plate from Rose & Crown? Or any other pics from R&C?

this is sort of off topic, but I had to post. I am drooling over that pic of the cheese app at California Grill, but I am laughing to myself as well. My husband and I ate there in Feb 2004 with friends that we were travelign with. All 4 of us agreed that it was the best meal we had ever had. Seated next to us were 3 yong men who got a kicj out of complaining and giving our server a hard time. She was an excellent, kind, and attentive server. they had this poor girl running all over the place, and nothing was good enough! She came over to ask them ho thier dinners were, and one sain "passable"------ So RUDE!!!! Then they made this huge stink about there being no cheese plate for dessert on the menu. She apolgized and said they could make one for them. they went on and on and on about what kinf od restaruant doesn't have a cheese plate. Get over it!!!! Then the poor waitress had to come out and apologize and explain about how they don't keep a lot of ingredients hanging around the kitchen and there wasn't a good variety of cheese, etc. Well, the goings on at this table were ridiculous about this cheese plate. Now it's a running joke between all of us whenever we don't see a cheese plate on the menu, we joke about it to ourselves!!!!!!
