We had no floral at our Welcome Dinner, but it was an Italian-theme, so we had glass pillars filled with pasta and lamps with ivy on them. It looked great, but I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.

I am going to use Jim shore castles and put candles and flower petals around them.

Here was what I did. I just had rose petals scattered around the bowls.
