Wow looks like alot of 3rd weekers going....

Just got mine this morning and I got EVERYTHING I had wanted! Even the times I wished for!! I spent about 30 minutes on hold and only about 15 minutes to actually make the reservations.

One thing I liked was that the CM made all my reservations and THEN at the END of the conversation she went back and gave me all my confirmation numbers and read through the whole "Chef Mickeys is a non smoking restaurant, and characters are subject to change" speech. Every other time Ive made ADRs I was given the confirmation number and information right after choosing a time.

We are a party of two adults

ADR date is coming up on Sunday. Hopefully everything that we want will be available. I am a little worried about Sci-Fi after hearing all of these stories but at the moment it is for a late 2:00 lunch so hopefully it will be ok.

Sunday can't come fast enough.

OK, I finally made all of my ADRs and I am pretty happy with the times I got! And I was able to get all of the restaurants that I wanted too! I had to call on two different Sundays, since we have two reservations.

Anyway, here is what I got:

Our first evening, we'll probably just have dinner at Beaches and Cream, after spending the afternoon swimming at SAB!

Since our last trip was a learning experience, here is what I learned and am trying this time:

1. Dinners can really interfere with your day if not planned right. We have Chef Mickey's the first night and had to make it late just in case. We should be safe because our flight lands early in the morning. I figure we can kill some time in the MK, eat, then return for the parade/Wishes.

The early 1900 Park fare is nice because we will still have the whole evening after dinner. We'll just eat the 1st lunch we can that day. Then, the Biergarten works because we eat at a nice pace, then can watch illuminations if we didn't see it yet.

2. I'm a fan of late breakfasts and early lunches in the parks that open early. I would have preferred a little later princess breakfast and Tusker breakfast, but the later times were gone. The Princess one is tough because we like to do soarin a few times right away and we'll have to hustle, that's all. The early Tusker is OK because this will be the 2nd early day at AK for us and we'll have all the big things done the 1st day I hope. Play-N-Dine is perfect as is the Crystal Palace lunch. We usually get the breakfast there but I have a feeling we'll have enough bacon and eggs by then so we switched it up!

I was able to get pretty much everything I wanted. The process was less time consuming then I expected it to be. I even was able to go back after I initially called to add one ADR which only took about 5 minutes. It took about 15 minutes to make the first 3 ADRs.

I got everything I wanted as well. Since we're staying off site (Windsor Hills), I had to call everyday at exactly 90 days out for each. Although, I got Chef Mickey's back in January when it was still 180 days in advance.

Got put into the queue right at 7:00 this morning, held until around 7:15, completely booked by 7:30. Only ADR I'm not completely happy with is Akershus, but at least I got it on the date I wanted. The CM I worked with was wonderful, friendly and efficient.

Just made my ressies today ! wait time was only a few minutes and the only place I had difficulty getting (told her to check again and got something) was Sci-Fi.... that's a first

Had that last on the list to arrange since I thought it was the easiest to get ( by far the cheapest use of the DDP TS service) - wound up having to rearrange the Wave.

After Sci-fi, the toughest was Le Cellier - had to try a couple of dates. Both Sci-fi and Le Cellier have our party of 5 split - but the girl said we should be fine ( hope so!) Also wound up with a lot of 5 pm dinners when I wanted more like 6-7. But I got all I wanted:

Chefs de France ( hear Remy is "on the platter" now?)

Also booked the YBC Pirate Treasure Hunt for the kids. That took the longest - the CM had trouble locating it. That alone was 40 min!
Had to get up at 3:45 AM to get on the phone at 4AM ( PST). called exactly at 4:00 and had a 20 minute wait. Took over an hour just for the restaurants. But the girl was SO nice and helpful. Guess they have some new software that is confusing them all a bit.
