I know I shouldn't because I have two Dalmations, but I love Cruella! This looks like the same one we saw with our grandson who was 3 at the time. He told her about our two and she said she wanted to borrow them for the weekend! He freaked out and jumped back into his stroller!

I've always loved this pic of my daughter.

Four years later. She is just growing up too fast!

My little guy didn't want to warm up to the characters too quickly.

When I am able to, I will post my picture of Cruella, my DH happily stepped in and had his picture taken with her! Your picture is really cute, it must be fun to be able to be in character like that!

Hi, I have just found the boards and this thread and I have spent a wonderful hour or so looking at the pictures of all your lovely families.

There are some wonderful shots, but my favourite thing of all is how happy everyone looks all the time, I love how the characters interact with the kids and adults, what an amazing job they do.

My son and I are going in 3 months and I definately want to do a character breakie to ensure we see some, but any tips for finding other characters?

There are some wonderful shots, but my favourite thing of all is how happy everyone looks all the time, I love how the characters interact with the kids and adults, what an amazing job they do.

My son and I are going in 3 months and I definately want to do a character breakie to ensure we see some, but any tips for finding other characters?

Definitely take him to ToonTown, as there are always characters there, and he will love interacting with all the talking manholes and mailboxes and things in ToonTown. Take him into Mickey's house and at the very end, he will get to meet Mickey 'on the set' of a movie Mickey is filming and take a picture. He can also go into Minnie's House and other character houses as well, and Donald's boat. As for characters in other spots, Main Street City Hall used to give you a list of where to find characters at certain times - I am not certain if they still do that or not. It would be worth it to check with City Hall. They WILL give you a list of where all the pressed penny machines are throughout DLR, so if your little one likes pressed pennies, that is a good thing to know to save time looking for them. There are usually characters from Pooh around the Pooh ride, posing for pictures. If you go to Pirate's Lair (Tom Sawyer's Island), Jack Sparrow is over there. Those are just some ideas off the top of my head. You will have the good fortune of seeing the characters in all their holiday wardrobe, so that is fun too!

Oh, and make sure you look for Hidden Mickeys. There is a book on Hidden Mickeys in DLR - you can get it on Amazon before your trip - and then you can point them out to your son or have him point them out to you. After you spot the ones in the book, you will begin to realize that there are MANY of them all throughout the resort that are NOT in the book (the Cast members like to keep them secret and let people find them!).

Sherry_E had some great tips, and I also wanted to add that characters are at the Sun Plaza at DCA quite often. I usually see Mickey and/or Minnie, Pluto, and I've seen Stitch, Goofy, and Max there as well. And since crowds are typically lower at DCA, you won't have to wait in line as long. I even waited for Flik and Atta by Bug's Land once in February and we spent at least 10 minutes with them as there was no one else waiting!

Thank you, Alison, for throwing that in! I always tend to forget that the characters visit DCA as well!! I always associate them mainly with DL and the character meals in my mind, but DCA would be a good idea to find characters (reguar ones and more unusual ones) in different outfits and not have to deal with as many people waiting in line! I always have to remind myself - yes, Mickey CAN be in two places/parks at the same time (sometimes MORE than two!)!!

Although my partner tend to shy away from getting our pictures taken with characters (not sure why), I do tay to take as many character pics as possible.
