Thought it might be fun to see how crazy we all are


I was just inspired by another thread that someone had posted that they had a nightmare they were at MGM and had no idea what they were doing..

My nightmare is that I wake up late for our flight and am not packed (highly unusual since I pack a few days before we leave anyway) and I am running around the house throwing things in suitcases... (this has been happening for years)

Whats your Disney dream or nightmare?

Wow, that MGM one sounds so familiar! I had a dream I was there with my family and offered to go get the RnR fastpasses while they waited for me at ToT. Well 30mins later and after walking across several fields I eventually wound up on a dirt road on the far side of Epcot...

I hate dreams like that. But I regularely have dreams of not being ready and forgetting to pack stuff or being told no I can't do something when I check in. Ugghhhh...i geuss that's the problem with being the obsessive planner

Last night I had a nightmare that we were late for the airport so we hurried there. We just made the plane on time but I noticed my sister and uncle were the only ones who remembered their carry-ons. My other sister and me & my DH did not have our swimsuits, passes, or Disney rewards card which is paying for a lot of the hotel. I told my DH we had to go home even if we had to get a new flight because the money we would spend on changing our flight would be cheaper than all the stuff we were missing.

WOW! I cannot believe you asked this question today!
Last night I had my recurring vacation dream,
I always have some variation of it before a trip.

We drive to WDW, over 17 hours away,
and last night's dream (as usual) had me forgetting
something incredibly important (like my DS's nebulizer!).
I drove by myself the 17+ hours back to our house,
then couldn't find our house,
then couldn't remember where DH & DS were
and got incredibly upset - running from room to room, etc.
I then dreamt for what seemed like "hours"
and finally realized I had to drive back to WDW!
I HATE THIS DREAM!!

LOL, so glad it's not just me. I don't usually have much in the way of bad dreams, but before my disney vacations, I have my disney nightmares...
1) I haven't made my ADR's and can't eat anywhere
2) I haven't decided which parks we are going to each day
3) I have forgotten my little neccesities like glow sticks, autograph books etc.

These start several weeks before and are multiple and varied,really hoping to escape them this year!!!!!

Have had a recurring dream most of my life that I go to MK and don't go on Space Mountain. Haven't had it in a while though, always make a point to go on SM when I'm there.

I just told my husband a few minutes ago that I had a nightmare last night, then I find this thread. We were at MK and were so excited jumping up and down. I looked for my camera and couldn't find it. We went back to the room and looked through all of our stuff and discovered my bag with my camera and camcorder was missing. Had to go and report that it never made it to my room (I'm guessing that in my dream I used Magical Express). I was so upset - I was crying and saying my vacation was ruined if I couldn't take pictures. This or some variation of it seems to be a recurring nightmare for me when I am traveling. Always so happy to wake up.

I have the same nightmare all the time, even when there is no trip pending....I am there with a group of people and can"t seem to get them to do anything. They dilly-dally around and all I want to do is go to the parks. it's very frustrating. Oy Vay!
