I'd like to see pictures of your Disney/change jar. Whether it is a craft project you made yourself, or something like a popcorn box that you now use for saving for your next trip. When I read the boards, I have fun imagining these.

Please post to inspire and entertain the rest of us.

Giant Vlasic pickle jar from BJ's Wholesale Club. I used one of my Mickey head pancake molds as a template on one side and then just lettered the rest. It's currently also doctored up with a bunch of Disney stickers.

ALL
of the money in it smells like pickles! lol

We just took out all of our bills to help pay for our upcoming trip...but here it is:

Nothing fancy, but we love helping fill it up! :goodvibes

Here's ours.. as you can see, we're wishful thinking, lol!!!

Figure our next trip is probably going to be summer of 2012, so have almost 2 years to fill this jar, :rotfl2:

I hope you post a picture in two years and show us again! :)

Mrudman, can't wait to see that jar in two years. We have a disney jar at home. I have a disney piggy bank that my parents bought me on our first trip to disney in 2004. I use while im at my dorm at school. Since our trip is only 2 months away:santa:, it's the perfect size:thumbsup2

We use an old Model Magic plastic container with Going to Disney and a pic of the kids at Downtown Disney from our first trip on it.

Nothing too special but unbreakable for when the kids bring it to the bank coin machine. The teller at the bank said to bring it when she's not working:rotfl:she always has to empty the bags of change when we come in. We told her my daughter will wear mickey ears so she can run for the hills when we come in.

We were using an old popcorn bucket from WDW that Dh cut a hole in the lid of, but we recently went to the World of Coke and I picked up a small bank that looks like a coke bottle. We had the large Coke bottle bank, but it would have taken to long to fill and this new one fits so well righ on the kitchen counter, so it is convenient to fill.

All of you are so unbelievably creative. I love it!

Here is the "jar" we are currently using:

The kids and I are working on creating our own homemade Disney Fund jar, but the store-bought Disney bank will forever be special to me because it signifies the moment that DH caught the Disney fever. It was the last day of our trip in February 2008. We ducked into some store in MK to buy a few souvenirs. I saw DH walking around clutching something, but I couldn't make out what it exactly was. When I met him at the cash register, he was holding the bank. I just looked questioningly at him and he said, "I love this place. We're coming back. Let's start saving." :lovestruc

We have this same jug for our money jar. Ours is used for any travel though, so it's not decorated or anything. I was SHOCKED last year when we counted and came out with $485! And, it looked SO empty!

This time, we're saving in this jar for 18 months. So it'll be interesting to see how much we have. I'd love to see your picture in 2 years!

Ours is just a popcorn bucket but it works perfectly!!

Your jar looks great!!
Thanks for posting. I have been inspired to decorate ours. the kids will love it.

What cute ideas!

Ours is an Enfamil formula canister with the label ripped off and a slot cut into the lid. :rotfl: My child is now 5! Probably time to upgrade.

*sigh* I need a jar that you can put change and dollars into, but you can't take them out. DH has been funding his morning coffee run with it. :sad2:
