Thank You for the information but unfortunately we are stuck with renting from Alamo because we are using a debit card. Alamo is the easiest to use one with, just need to provide proof of return flight home.
We tried joining Alamos quicksilver program but because we only have the debit card, we were unable to..they don't accept those to join. Oh well!

You can sign up for Hertz Gold for free and they do accept debit cards (they may say they don't, but after you join they let you know they do and I just joined with my debit card).

DB used the aisle at McCarron and there were SUV's, no minivans and lots of full size. He checked out the SUV's and decided he wanted to ride in style. He chose a brandy new towncar with 3k miles on it.

He was pleased!!!!

Like I said, it is rare to find a mini or suv, but, it does occur. He really did get lucky, good for him.

hermosa11, try putting your info into National. I also have an 11 day rental, and my total is $228. (But you are in June, so might be higher). There are other national coupons you can use.

Wow, that is high!!!! I just did a reservation for 8 days in Sept.
used the BJ's code and free day coupon and the total came to 188.13 (including all those taxes and fees). It was higher two days ago, about 60.00 if memory serves.

I just planned a trip in May for 3 days 9th-12th. I couldn't stand to wait until October comes for our family trip! I got a total rate of $118 for a full size car from Dollar. Does this sound high? Thanks

We are going May 10 to 13 and I just booked a full size car with alamo using the $15 off coupon in the entertainment book and the total price with taxes came to $91.76.
