Post Your Best EPCOT tip here!!!

:thumbsup2 My tip for a hot day or just to relax is to go to France and see the movie. It is cool inside and the chairs are comfortable. DH and I do this every day that we are in EPCOT and the movie and music are great.

Start with a margarita in Mexico, nothing better than strolling World Showcasewith a lime margarita in hand! One of the first things I look forward to every trip!

It is no longer Ice Station Cool but Club Cool. It is sponsored by Coke and has different Coke products from around the world.

Ice Station Cool was themed with ice and snow as you entered.

Okay I give - What is "Ice Station Cool"????

I think it's called "Club Cool" now. If I remember correctly, it's like a giant freezer that you walk into and can sample a bunch of soda from around the world. On a hot day, it's great b/c it's the coldest place you'll ever go into. I believe Coke used to sponsor but I could be wrong.

We love to buy a chocolate from each country. It's a cheap and non-alcoholic way to enjoy the countries.

I have a 4 yr old.. so characters are so big with us!!!

Some people don't know that the characters are hidden in the countries... like Pooh, Tigger and Eyeore and sometimes Rabbit are in the back of the toy shop for group photos together!!! They always have a photopass person there too..

Mulan is up in China all the way in China.. so you will have to walk all the way to the front of the building to see if she is there and sometimes Mushu too..

You can meet others characters in the countries but these you have to really look for!

Have fun! :rotfl:

Our Epcot tips:
- Make sure you take the time to stop and enjoy the "Off Kilter" concert in Canada. Grab a cold Molson and some popcorn and enjoy a group of very talented musicians... who also have a good sense of humor.
- Set aside some time to "play" in Innoventions.
- Ride the Mexico boat ride. The first part, floating around the restaurant, is beautiful.
- Grab lunch in China. The food is much spicier (and much more delicious) than you get at your local Chinese Food buffet. If you don't have time for lunch, at least get an egg roll.
- If you've never been through "the Land," make sure you take the boat ride and see the plants in the greenhouse. It really is neat.
- If the "Jamitors" are playing, make sure you stop and enjoy the show.
- Take a trip around the World Showcase on one of the Friendship boats.
- Don't miss "Honey I shrunk the audience"
- Finish the day with Illuminations. As with all Disney productions, Illuminations is spectacular.

Take plenty of time in the Japan pavilion. The Koi fish pond and the surrounding garden is so relaxing. During the Flower & Garden festival they have bonzai trees out and about that are many decades old.

The Mitsukoshi Department Store is really cool too. They sell some incredible stuff. Everything from rare toys to clothes to Japanese snack food to an oyster bar where they find a fresh oyster, crack it open and you can buy the pearl.

Also, if you're hungry for a snack or light lunch, check out the Yakitori House which is outside near the koi pond. It's a really good and cheap counter-service restaurant.

Don't miss out on the Japan pavilion.
