We've been home a few days now, and what a bummer. I'm missing DL, and even though my body was ready to go home after 4 1/2 days in the park (think everything was sore!) my heart sure wasn't! We did it all too, everything we wanted and planned on. But still I'm feeling the blues. Won't be back probably until September 2012.

What do you do to help those blues after you're home? I'm seriously thinking of making some Mickey pancakes tomorrow. lol

Start planning all the details for your 2012 trip. Seriously, enjoy the fact that you have plenty of time to think through all the details and save up all the $$ (if budget is an issue) in order to make your next trip perfect.

...and visit the Disboard as often as you can! :goodvibes

We just got home yesterday night and I am having the blues too!! We were there from th 19th to 24th too. We had a blast too. We loved Star tours and Little Mermaid!

Absolutely agree with this, we are currently actively planning two trips and thinking about reservations for our 3rd, (soon as we AP next month), but the truly fun part is how much more efficient we are with the trips. Even the kids are getting into the morning strategy and when we are going to do what and how often, its hilarious fun just planning, but I do feel your pain.

When we got back in March we were all sad for a few weeks and that is when the DW and I decided to go again!

We were there Monday - Friday this week too. We'll be letting our APs expire in August. We got 3 trips out of them. No future plans for another trip yet. I agree that the feet and legs said it was time to come home, but I love the two Parks and the whole atmosphere.

I agree, work on planning your next trip! I have two trips in planning stages at the moment and a possible surprise Christmas trip on my hope list!!:rotfl: This REALLY helps with the post-trip blues!!:goodvibes

We wind up going back to work, so we are focused on the now.

I hate the post vacation blues! I nearly cried on the plane ride home this past trip.

This past trip we did Photopass, and when we got back I started scrapbooking. There are lots of examples of Disney scrapbooks on the web. I also bought a Disney themed needlepoint kit while we were at the World - I spent many a long PA winter's night on that!

I also rely on all the great podcasts - DisUnplugged, Mousetalgia, Disney Geek, and of course the Disney movies :goodvibes

Planning the next trip does help. Today I uploaded all my pics from the trip. Getting back to work and reality will come tomorrow, but that isn't much fun. lol Someday I just need to move next to DL. ;)

Usually I spend a few weeks or longer if I can make it drag out that long creating a scrap book of our trip. Of course then everyone who is unfortunate enough to come by our house is stuck looking at it lol. Then I jump right back on planning the next one. Our last Disney vacation was in early November. I worked on the scrap book till almost Christmas then really started looking at details for our December 2011 vacation and am now working on FE gifts for our cruise. Its kind of fun to keep the magic going all the time :wizard:
