I transferred within the company and am now working 10 minutes from home!!! Woooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! No more 65 mile a day drive...that I did WAY too long.

I'm also working OT!!!!!!! I haven't had a job that let's me work OT in ages!

My DH is away on business and I miss him, but my heart is happy because it is so full of love for him.

(May be corny to some, but when I talked to him today that is how I felt.)

They put more dirt in the washed out part of my road today. Sounds stupid but the dirt they used to patch it when it washed out was getting packed down and washed out more so there was about a foot deep hole in one area. It's so much smoother now, and I don't have to drive around a mega curve that goes up a hill (it's a terrible blind area) in the middle of the road
The sun made an appearance yesterday (we just won't talk about today's weather...)
After tomorrow's 9 hour shift I have Friday through Sunday off from work (I'm part time in retail)
I spent the afternoon with my sister today. We haven't had much real good bonding time lately, so it was fun. We saw Click (the new Adam Sandler movie) and it was hillarious

I have a beautiful grandson named Dominik who was born on June 18.

My DS today received a $2,500 Space Grant scholarship for college.

After 12.5years the main floor (mstr bath, mstr bed, kitchen, dining/living, den, front bath) are painted! woohoo - walked in from work today and the living room walls actually look like walls and not just an extension of the cathedral ceiling!

Taking DS & his friend to the White Mtns for 6days over July 4th

Just had my first pedicure and my first manicure. Hey I finally colored my walls! it was time to color my nails! lol

DS & I adopted 2 bunnies who seem to be doing well

My kids started Rec on Tuesday, it goes through Aug 4th.
From 9-12 they play games like kickball, tag, basketball, also coloring, crafts.
Home for lunch.
From 1-4 they go to the sprinklers(really cool ones, not little ones, permanent ones at the park),and play in the park.
They have a BALL, get exercise and get to hang out with their friends, I give them $2 each every day and they get ice cream from the ice cream man mid afternoon-what a life for a kid!


Plus the field/park where it's held it one block away from home..and it's all FREE for town residents.

I went to the Dr. today for my post-op checkup and the report from pathology was great!
I also have two wonderful children and a wonderful husband and mother here with me.

My little parakeet was singing duet w/me on the Brother Bear soundtrack earlier today. It's kinda corney, but it makes me smile every time he does that.

Oh yeah, and another thing..I'm going to Vegas third weekend in Sept. w/my b/f & his parents. I've never been to Vegas, & I can't wait!

My dad was told he had a very healthy heart even after he had a heart attack with 100% blockage of a main artery.

He's still every healthy and it's hard to keep him get him to take it easy. He just wants to go out dancing.
