Post Prom Ideas That Parents Will Approve Of!

Last year afterwards, I went to a breakfast at a friends house. A lot of the parents got together and cooked for us. We all changed clothes there. After an hour or so, we all went to another friends house for movies. When everyone went to sleep, the guys stayed downstairs and the girls up. It was good! I think for prom the co-ed sleepover is different. Most of the time, you dont go to sleep until insanely late anyway, and if someone is going to "do" something, then they will find a place for it, and usually its not going to be in a house with 15 other kids there!!

Some of my friends a couple of years ago went Cosmic Bowling! That was a big hit! They all loved it! When I was a freshman, after we ate and took pictures, we had more time before we wanted to go to the dance, so we went to get ice cream and a random trip to Walmart! (there is NOTHING to do in our town!! The bowling wasnt in our town, or we would of done that!:)) We took pictures and played in the store! It was so much fun!!

I hope DD has a GREAT time at prom!! Ours is April 9th, and I dont have a date yet!! The guy that I'd been dating moved back to college and cant get home for it. :( I dont know what Im going to do!

At 18? no.

A lot of seniors are still 17. Plus a lot of seniors take sophs. or juniors with them. So I don't think everyone who attends a senior prom is 18.

My BIL's oldest son just graduated and the parents get involved in a big way to keep the kids entertained after the prom. The literally use one whole block in a neighborhood and decorate it with a theme. The parents actually join a committee earlier in the year for this. He showed us a video of my nephews after-prom party and the kids looked like they were having a blast!!!

That sounds like fun :)

I am really stressing this. I have two sr's. Last year they went to after prom and had a blast, then back to another kids house where they did a supervised co-ed sleepover and movies and breakfast.
This year they are already bugging about the hotel room thing. Also the next day is sr. cut day and they're going to want to go somewhere for that. My big goal is to keep them safe. No driving anywhere at 4am with alot of crazy people on the road. No getting in a car with somebody who will be drinking. So I want them to land someplace after the after-prom and stay there til breakfast. I want to know where they are going the next day and who is driving. To make it worst both the sons will have gotten their license around 2 weeks before that and they'll be bugging to drive somewhere.
