I too have recently sent out alot of LBE's.

When I went to the Post Office the machine was down and the attendant was not able to give me a printed out receipt of the envelopes that I mailed out.

I am concerned that I missed someone, or there envelope did not get mailed.

I have heard from most people, but if you are waiting on a pin from me could you send me an email.

Thanks.

Not just you. The mail has been even worse lately.
It was bad after 9/11, and was picking up with some glitches. But the holidays have really sent it back.
I traded lots of pins this last month. I found that Priority mail means 1 - 1.5 weeks. Myself and others would have been just as well to pay for regular air mail.
And the LBE's I rec'd either came VERY fast, or VERY slow. Seems there was no inbetween.
I even sent one of my sisters a card on the 17th to northern AZ. As of Friday she hasn't rec'd it.
I did a trade early this month with one of our France buddies. I trust him fully, but haven't rec'd the pin yet. I am guess it is sitting somewhere on the east coast. I may get it eventually. Of all the packages I have sent and rec'd this is the first one I am wondering that may be lost. So I guess I have been doing pretty good.

I am still waiting for an LBE that was mailed from Japan around the third week of September. I have received others from Japan since then, but this one seems to have fallen into the abyss....:(

Nicole, good question because I did not know what LBE was when I first saw it - little brown envelope :). That is how many of us mail our pins when trading.

Thanks for the feedback.

And all this time I've been calling them padded envelopes...

I've had a hard time getting/sending mail as well. My mom just got an LBE that was sent out before Thanksgiving. With all the Anthrax stuff going around, mail is very slow. Priority doesn't mean anything. If you need it there fast, use FedEx or UPS.
