OP here. I didn't think this would be a controversial subject! I have every intention of removing the Post-It Note and flushing before leaving the stall.
In fact, I'm the one who put up a sign in the toilet stall at work asking people to please push the little button if the auto-flushing toilet doesn't flush itself. I think a lot of people didn't know that the button was there. Or if they saw it, they didn't know what it was for.
I think some people just don't realize that you can manually flush an auto-flushing toilet when it doesn't flush when you want it to flush.
