Post-Dopey Dinner: If not Narcoosee's, then Cali Grill or Citricos? (Or Artist Point?)

Got on first thing this morning and Narcoosee's was completely booked for dinner after the marathon in January. Was hoping that would be our celebration dinner. We'd like to eat in the MK area, so if not N's, then which would you suggest? I have a California Grill at 5:15, but there are several Citricos slots available. Then there is Artist Point...

Thoughts? I know which I prefer for atmosphere but we'd really like our meal to be great all around.

Thanks!

All 3 of those are delicious in my opinion! 3 of my favorites. If you love Salmon, Artist Point. California Grill definitely has the best atmosphere and view. Cali Grill's Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli is one of the best things I have ever eaten. Citricos recently changed their menu but it was still delicious on our recent trip. If you are going for an overall choice with both food and atmosphere, Cali Grill is my vote.

We are doing Yachtsman Steak House for a "date night" post Dopey. Also under consideration was Citricos and Artist Point.
We ended up choosing Yachtsman because we will most likely stay at BWI (currently have a cabin reserved at Fort Wilderness, but if we are able to get a Deluxe room at a military discount when released, we will switch to that) and we are thinking of going to JellyRolls after dinner!

I completely agree about the goat cheese ravioli.

The marginal differences between these places is a personal calculus.

Chose the one that is most conveniently located for the balance of your plans that day.

Or, flip-a-coin.

Artist Point is awesome. We have had consistently good food and service. It is the one restaurant we always go to.

Any of those options will be great, all signatures are pretty good, maybe Cali grill if you feel you could be awake for the fireworks, keep looking for Narccossees too, you may get it. Remember how tired you will be with reservation timings too (depends on where you live and any time differences) I am a runner and did the 5/10/half last year at wine and dine and fell asleep in the muppetts theatre at 2pm! I didnt make our evening adr. I was exhausted and I'm from the UK so all the time differences should have worked in my favour!

I cant wait to do Dopey, 2019 for me. Very jealous.

We went with Narcooseee's! It's the only one place we haven't been! I'm an active-recovery gal and so is my husband, so even after a long post-race nap, we'll need to get out and move the legs a bit! I kept trying until I got a decent ADR!

@Katedisneylover, we are already having a blast training for Dopey! You're going to love it!

I completely agree with Artist Point. Is this your first Dopey? When DH did his first Dopey, we walked from BCV to Beaches and Cream, he had a No Way Jose Sundae (he'd dreamed about it the whole time he was training), then hit the hot tub and sleep. But then, he was 65, his recovery wouldn't allow for Artist Point. Enjoy!

@Simba's Mom --Good grief, I'd forgotten how big the NWJ is.:) For a restaurant pick I'll mention Citrico's. It's our current family favorite. :earsboy:
