Hmph...I've only been home for a few weeks, and only a few days from Harry Potter World in Orlando and I am already sad face about it all. I miss Disneyland tons. I'll get to go back for a day in February or March but that's only a day!! I need more than a day, I seriously want to be there every single day. Every day I'm not there I am sad if I think about it

I think most of us feel that way after coming home from another great trip. The cure? The only thing that helps in my case is planning ahead for the next time you can get to DL :goodvibes

I wish I could plan another trip, but I am currently focusing on a large move for myself which is why I'm going to Disneyland for one day in February :) on my way to my new home I'll be stopping in Anaheim to use my annual pass one last time

you guys are not the only ones that feel that way. although i live close enough to go every weekend, there is sometimes i just can't make it on a weekend to the parks and i start to miss it,and then i need my "disneyland time", and when the engine on my car blew up and i didn't have a car for 1 week or so i was really needing my disneyland time then... and ikristin, even though you will get one day, it's going to be a day that you will remember forever! you just gotta make the best of it! and it's going to be awesome for you i know it!!

btw way you two i love your signatures! :)

I used to be the same way! I would be really upset for a while after my DLR trips.
I used to only visit DLR on family trips and finding people who can afford to visit for vacation all the time was hard, so I never knew when I would return.
Now, I make more frequent trips with friends so when I leave DLR on one trip I usually already have my next trip with a different set of friends planned!
I wish I was like Sara and lived close enough to DLR to stop by so often! (I guess living 5hrs away isnt the worst situation though!)

But I am making my new years resolution for 2011 to be visit DLR at least once a month! I don't know if that qualifies as a 'resolution' really....but I am buying an AP and already have my Jan, Feb & Dec visits set! Just gotta recruit people to drag with me the other 9 months of the year! :rotfl:

I hope your move goes smoothly! And just think, one day in DLR is better than no days there!

Totally get it, I'm a 13+ hour flight away! So much that I need to skip the boards for a while. Until we decide to plan the next trip!

I'm trying to find people to drag with me but unfortunately most don't have the $$ or if they do they aren't as into Disney as i am...

I'm planning on going solo in December unless I can find someone to go with me.

this is true.

It's been over a month since we have been there and I still miss it. It's hard for me to believe that Disneyland still "happens" when I'm not there.

I work 5 mintes from DLR and live an hour away, and even with all my frequent visits, just being away for a week or two gives me withdrawls, so it doesn't matter if you live close or far, we're all familar with the Disney Blues that can only be cured by being there...here's to everyone's next visit :drinking1.....popcorn::

VERY WELL SAID mortimer!!!!!!! :wizard:

I live in Indiana and I just made my first trip ever to Disneyland (I grew up going to Disney World)...it's only been a week and a half since my visit and I'm so sad! The only upside is that I'll be moving to Phoenix here in a couple months and I'll only be 5-6 hours from Disneyland...woohoo!

I totally understand. I solved the problem by just going everyday - I got a job at Disneyland, and now I work there (usually 6 days/week) - and guess where I go on my day off?

I'm retired, so it works just fine for me. If you're not there yet, it is something to look forward to. Me and and fellow retiree coworkers sometimes refer to it as "livin the dream".
