Post Disney Depression!

Tank yew. It's the madmenyourself jpg. dealie -- how you'd look in the early sixties. You start out with a body style (since I'm roundish, mine comes with QUITE the substantial foundation garment -- my daughter's has a bullet bra and granny panties) and take it from there. MANY period accessories too... Totally a hoot.

I did that.
Mine looked like Freddy from Scooby Doo

Hey Joey - totally understand - Youcan always contact me - basically your neighbor - we can be depreressed together. When in December are you going?

I deal with slight depression ever time we leave DL. Our trip last weekend, we both walked around the park for an hour, just soaking everything in and didn't say a word until we had walked all the way out, through DTD and to our hotel.

It hits us both.

But how we deal with it, is looking over pictures, going through all of our purchases, putting up trip reports, sharing our stories. Helps. :)

Nice to see I'm not the only one that gets PDD.
But WOW, lots of remedies out there to choose from.

rpmdfw, I would love to move to Orlando but not an option.
Tony_NJ (hey neighbor) I'm going Sun, Dec 6 - Fri, Dec 11th
wally, always looking at my package!
FeeFeeWhite, I hope you had an amazing time. How are you coping?
rcostello1 shame on you, rubbing all of your upcoming trips in my face! XO
DVC when I'm in Disney in Dec, that feels like Christmas. Actual Christmas isn't the same.
Eveyone Else, stop encouraging wally!

Isn't that the truth, Joey? Christmas at WDW is festive and bright and impossible to miss! LOL. It's an instant spirit boost.

It took a bit for me to get used to it, the first year we came down for Christmas, but once I got into it there was no turning back.

Not that I'm religious at ALL, but when people express disbelief that Christmas at WDW (or without snow) can be festive I ask them how much snow do they think there was in Bethlehem? :teeth:

Hope you get to come down for as many Christmases as you want!

Don't do it, Luis! You can go blind from that!

That's a load of hogwash perpetuated by self-loathing Puritans to deny us the very natural pleasures of . . . OMG why is there hair on my palm :scared1:

JoeyAnyc, Oh my! This is sad! I do not get what you describe but I get the blues. Going back into realityland can be a little depressing (pressure from work, the dirtiness of the city, cashier rude and not caring at the grocery store, etc). Disney World is definitely an utopian place.

My remedy for it is to actually check my pictures and videos right away. I then remember that I lived the magic. And then I try to apply some of the stuff I learned there. Like have a smile everywhere you go (well it doesn't always work when I work for 12 hours, I get Grumpy instead). And try to help as much as I can.

And then... I start thinking about my next trip.

:tinker:I hope this helps a little bit!
