Hi! We are new to Disney and this is our first trip as a family. Totally last minute but we are so excited and the kids don't even know yet!

When making a reservation for party size do I include the 2yr old since she won't be technically eating (we rarely get her own plate since she just picks off of ours and under 3 are free right?)
There is an ADR I'd love to make but we have 7 in our party, without the 2yr old we'd be a party of 6 and there is a spot for a party of 6.

So if I made a reservation for 6 and showed up with 6 + a tiny 2yr old are they going to turn us away??

Thanks so much and please excuse my inexperience, I'm so new to this and learning!

Hi, :)
yes you need to make an ADR for your 2year old as she will need a seat (or space for a highchair)
From what im aware under 3's are allowed to get their own plate of food from buffets for free. For other meals just do as you do-let her eat off your plate. :thumbsup2

Dont worry we were all new once.xx:goodvibes

p.s Congratulations, I hope you have a great time.xxx

Party size does include everyone, even if they are a newborn. Depending on when you are going they MAY let you in with an extra person, you may have to wait for a bigger table. There IS a chance they can turn you away.

Yes, you need to include the two year old. Disney won't turn you away but you probably will have to wait a lot longer for your table and would probably be considered a walk-in at that point. The problem is you would be going from an even number of people to an odd number which means another table. They can't just put another chair there for fire code reasons and possible space in the restaurant.

Thank you for the info. I went ahead and booked it since my mom told me she would take the time to do a little exploring of her own which brings us down to a party of 6.

Disnut8 - I see you're in Braselton. Hello from Loganville!
