Cannot get anything (studio) long weekend for F&W....anywhere. SO frustrationg...

Wished I would have been a better planner on this one!

Got AKL standard view 3 weeks out in late April last year...all in the timing.

Yes, couldn't get BCV or BWV at 7 months for a weekend in October last year. Finally cleared one night just a few weeks before the stay, but the final night never cleared. (One of my few waitlist failure)


Also, the concerige at AKV for a weekend in January. That waitlist NEVER cleared.

Nothing is impossible with DVC and finding things at the 7 month mark will really depend on what you want, where, and when.

If you are flexible, you will most likely be able to trade out somewhere, but some rooms are harder than others.

I traded out from BLT to BCV for this past summer right at 7 months. I called at 6 1/2 months and the rooms are gone.

So, just a few days makes a difference. For next August, I booked my SV 1 bedroom at BLT right at the 11 month mark. I called this past weekend to check something and those rooms were gone, only 8 days into the 11 month window.
