As noted, it's not possible for us to do so but DVC can. However, it's likely not reasonable to do so unless you also absolutely must change resorts. Assuming the same resort, by the time you pay a little more pp for the 50 pt contract, pay commission on the 100 pt contract and pay closing on the new contract, you're out maybe $1400 on the transition netting you only around $2300 or so in the transition. Better to keep them and use them or rent some every couple of years. The exception might be if you owned at a high cost/high demand resort like VGC or VGF and wanted to move to SSR, OKW VB or HH. Now if you own another contract also, you might be able to sell the entire 100 and make due with another contract if you have one. I'm not sure you're reasoning for this possible action but if it's financial, I'd likely either rent the points or sell the entire thing and then maybe buy back in 2-3 years from now, esp since I think we're at a relative high for resale right now.
