Possible to get on Frozen ride in the AM?

If the park opens at 9, with no morning extra/magic hours, is it possible to get on the ride with less than a 20 minute wait if we get there at opening and hustle over there?

The last time we were here, maybe a year ago?, because of all the breakfasts at Akershus, the line was already insane at opening, which was so irritating and disappointing.

(Matter of fact, the year the ride opened we were one of the first to enter the park, so we thought- ran over there like lunatics, and the ride wait was 4 hours. Yes...FOUR HOURS at 9:08 am. AKERSHUS. Ughhh).

We arrive at WDW and headeding to Epcot on Friday. So excited! See ya real soon!

I think you'll have a pretty short wait if you go right at RD.

I'm confused. There's literally zero way the amount of people dining at Akershus could make the wait four hours.

I don't doubt you're telling the truth, but there's, like literally zero way it was because of breakfast people.

If you arrive at the park right when it opens then you'll have a decent wait. If you want it to be 20 min or less then I recommend getting to the park 45-60 min prior to park opening.

If you get there right when the park opens you'll be behind hundreds of people

Like with most rides as the newness wears off, the wait times for Frozen are nowhere near that bad anymore (assuming it doesn't break down - which it seems to do every time I have a FP). I recorded wait times over 6 days in January/February on a spreadsheet and before 10 AM, it was typically about 25-35 minutes (posted).

09:00 AM to 09:15 AM: 20-30 minutes
09:15 AM to 10:00 AM: 25-45 minutes
10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: 45-55 minutes
12:00 PM to Close: 50-80 minutes

On a side note, if the park "opens" at 9 AM, they frequently let people in before that. Both Disney and Universal are guilty of this. I've arrived 10-15 minutes before "open" and they were already letting people in.

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere -- our last trip was in October 2016 and World Showcase didn't open until 11am. Is Frozen open when the park opens or when World Showcase opens (if the openings are still staggered)? Thanks!

We did it at rope drop and it took all of 15 minutes.
