Possible to do RSR twice a day?

After you get the RSR FP at rope drop, I would avoid Cars Land and focus on Toy Story Midway Mania and Paradise Pier attractions first. The majority of guests will head to Cars Land first. The minority will head to Toy Story Midway Mania first.
The RSR FP now lasts until noon, but lets say 11am-1130am to be safe. :)
If you can get most of Paradise Pier (TSMM, Screamin, Fun Wheel, and Goofy) plus Soarin and Grizzly done without FP before you use your first FP for RSR you will be set for an easy day. Then before you use your FP for RSR you can get a FP for Anna and Elsa (disconnected FP) and the a 2nd RSR FP.

Symphony Swings, Triton Carousel, JellyFish, Zephyr, and Mermaid are all Paradise Pier attractions that have low wait times times or fast loaders throughout the day.

thank you! Both kids won't be tall enough to ride CS and I'm terrified of the Fun Wheel so that limits what we do on the pier :)

I've only been to DCA once (well 2 days, one trip only) so please remind me. Is the best way to get to TSMM after the RSR FP going past Cars Land?

Rope drop happens every day. It basically means that there is literally a rope that Cast Members hold at Buena Vista Street to hold people back. When the park officially opens to the public it "drops" (CM removes it) and guests are allowed to walk to their destination. EMH is semi daily, but the plan I gave works for either a EMH or non EMH day. The main difference being that the EMH may just be a bit more crowded than non EMH days.

Note at DCA they walk the people to Cars Land with a rope. Just stay to the left of that walk and get a RSR FP near the Bugs Land entrance. You will hear the CM's yelling about the RSR FP.

The only way it would be hard to ride RSR twice is if the attraction is not working in the morning and FP if offline too.

In that case still head to Paradise Pier and TSMM since it would still be the most important thing to get done. Then get a RSR FP later for an evening ride as the attraction is much better at night.

Do you ever head to TSMM after an EMH? Just wondering what the wait time is like there, being behind the EE folks. I am talking 8 am regular opening. Thanks!

We typically avoid the park that has EE since we do not.

If you're getting a FP for RSR first then the best way to get to TSMM would be to go to the right and head over the bridge into the pier. If you want to go straight to TSMM and get a FP later, you can go through Grizzly Peak. It's a bit longer, but there are a lot fewer people. The crowd of people going to Carsland can make it difficult for you to get to the pier. You'll see a huge difference in the number of people lined up to head into Grizzly versus those lined up for Carsland.

thanks. That helped. I also googled the map :) 2013 was my first trip to DLR in 15 years so my experience and knowledge of the newer DCA is very limited.

Follow the same path you take to get the RSR FP. You'll see Mickeys Fun Wheel and a Paradise Pier sign to your left. Head through the sign and you will see TSMM.

TSMM at park opening with non EMH is probably a 5-10 minute wait. With EMH 10-15 minutes. Most EMH guests will still be at Cars Land or heading to TSMM at park opening.
