I just received an odd pm from someone who just joined today and has 0 posts under their name. I checked the profile and nothing.. It has a link supposely (sp) to a picture that the pmmer said was deleted off somewhere.

in the pm it said 0 as in how many posts he had and when I looked at his profile he just joined today.. I am curious to the link but I refuse to open it..

Funny thing that gave it away.. 1. it says I am an "old" member with several posts under my belt..umm I just joined Dis.. and 2. he has 0 posts on Dis according to his profile.. so how could he have something posted somewhere??...........

My name is Ajay and I've been writing to few DIS members for help.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but I had a posting requesting to support my picture which has been selected as Top Ten Finalist in a Photo Contest. This is a picture I took on my recent trip to India.


My picture is titled: Embracing Morning Sun (Black & White)

But my posting was deleted since I'm new and my first post was a vote request...

I'm being bit proactive 'cos I really want to win this and donate that winning money to Tsunami victims back home.

I would really appreciate if you could make a request on my behalf since you are an old member with several posting under your belt.

The first prize is $150 (which is really not a huge amount) but when you convert it to Indian Currency, it's a significant amount!

I have pledged this and Please help me win it for them. I'm Slipping on the votes.
