According to the Orlando Sentinel,
Far-flung food. Orlando International plans to marry retail to restaurants in the core of the terminal to encourage travelers to spend more money.
New food-court design for OIA Planners at Orlando International Airport are proposing a $36 million plan that would reorganize retail and food shops throughout the terminal to improve traffic flow and increase revenues.
I can remember reading a few days ago that the Disney Store may be moved and that the airport are trying to present a mall type atmosphere to travelers. The food court will be anchored by a McDonald's.
So in a year or two MCO may look quite a bit different.
