My wife and I are close to making a decision on the vacation club, we are wondering a few questions if we were to buy in at the minimum points of 250 and a year down the road if we wanted to add 100 with the beach club closed being already bought in can we buy them at the beach club and is it worth the extra 100 points at the original sign up??

You can add at anytime you like....but almost anything besides SSR will have to be purchased on the resale market (fairly easy to do)....or there are people that have had luck being put on the waitlist for there selected resort and gotten add on points that way...

We purchased our original contract from Disney...175 then purchased one add on of 136 and are in the process of our second add on of 100points....It is addicting...

What is SSR and do you go through the reseller web site I found???

SSR is Saratoga Springs Resort. It's the current DVC property that is being sold by Disney.

There are several places you can purchase DVC resales. The sponsor of this forum being one of them.

Minimum purchase is 150 points and being an owner does not guarantee the right to buy sold out resorts if that is what you're asking. You should get educated before you start thinking about buying and this board is the place to do so. I hope things go well.
