The word is (rumor) that disney will off the free dining package starting on 8/26.

My questions is, if we arrive on 8/24 staying through 9/1 (8 nights total) will the extend the offer for the 8 nights that I'm there or only 6 of the eight nights.

This is a bummer, I've already got my airline tickets, but no hotel reservations.

Do I have to book 2 reservations to get free dining ?

Does anyone know how it worked last year with the free dining offer.

Thanks for the replies.

You would need to book 2 reservations. You would not get it on 8/24 or 8/25 if it starts on 8/26. I'll be curious to see if any of these rumors prove to be true.

Historically, if your check in date was during a promo that you were eligble for, you could take advantage of it for your entire stay.

Please disregard my previous post - I misread your dates ( I need coffee!!). You would need two reservations.

Booooo....

Oh well, 6 days is better than nothing !!!!!

I can always hope the dates change for us.

I wish I didn't already have my airfare, but I couldn't resist. $600.00 round trip for 4 couldn't be beat. I had to jump on that price.

Maybe we'll stay at a Universal resort for the front line privledges for two nights. Then jump on over to riverside.

Thanks for the replies.

:grouphug: :goodvibes :goodvibes I think you should just breathe easy and wait, the dates and the free dining promotion are just rumors at this point. You may be pleasantly surprised in a couple of weeks when the truth comes out - and if it does not work out perfectly with your dates you already have your options planned. ;) You also have the wonderful rates you got with your plane tickets. Go and enjoy your trip to the Magical World of WDW.:) :cloud9:

If you do have to split your stay going to Universal the first two days might be the best way to go. You will not get your park tickets till the day the package would start so unless you have left over tickets or an AP you would have to buy tickets for the first days if you wanted to go the the Disney parks.
