Possible Chemical weapons found

Fox is reporting that soldiers came across numerous boxes of white powder, several viles and papers showing how to unleash a chemical war. Scary!!

What chemical weapons??? they did not have any in Iraq......yeah right.. I am watching Fox now.......hopefully the UN is watching as well.. Thanks for the info..

Ofcourse WE planted them there - right?

I for one do not think they will be using chemical weapons against us. If they do --- they know that we will immediately have the entire world (at least most of it) backing us up. If they don't use them --- and say that we planted whatever we find (if they were ours wouldn't we use them -- they may say) - they know that our support will dwindle even more than it is now ---- and that would be all the satisfaction they would need. That would create more of an impact for them than many dead soldiers.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Fox News speculates that the powder could be bleach that is used for decontamination. This makes sense since it was next to antidote. I speculate that all the WMD are now in Syria along with Saddam. Uneducated guess.

Either way I think they definitely plan to claim we "planted" stuff. I'm sure they'll get a sympathetic audience too.

On April 1, Iraqi Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan, in a statement on Iraqi television, repeated Baghdad's position that it had no weapons on mass destruction. Referring to reports that gas masks and other chemical gear had been found elsewhere in the country, he said the coalition might plant weapons of mass destruction to implicate Iraq.

"Let me say one more time that Iraq is free of weapons of mass destruction," he said. "The aggressors may themselves intend to bring those materials to plant them here and say those are weapons of mass destruction."

I AGREE!! No, I sure don;t wnt them to be used, but sure want to misprove others. Of course, I will be told that we probably planted them.

I fear that they will use chemical weapons as a "last ditch effort" when our troops reach the heart of the city of Baghdad. I hope that we are able to find their weapons before they use them.
