I saw this mentioned in the 2017 Kindle version of the Unofficial Guide, but couldn't find anything about it online.

An inset of the Canada Pavilion section labeled "DISNEY DISH WITH JIM HILL" has this to say:

Back in the late 2000s, Disney seriously considered an "Anne of Green Gables" store in the Hotel du Canada, the iconic building of the Canada Pavilion, but the financial crisis put an end to those plans. Now that the economy is on the rebound, the latest idea is to use the space for a Canadian craft-brew pub that would offer Epcot visitors a terrific view of IllumiNations.

Does anyone have more information about this rumor. If it was said on a Disney Dish podcast, please let me know which episode.

I have not heard about the brew pub specifically, but I have heard from a reliable source a while ago that there were plans to add something to Canada.

There are so many amazing craft brews in Canada; this is a fantastic idea. We're absolutely spoiled for choice for small batch, local brews across the country!

Agree with everyone else this would
be fantastic. We would spend much more time in the Canada pavilion.

It just goes to pattern...since they've added 3 such places in recent years...

Of course...Jim hill just made it up - as usual - figuring there's a decent change to be right.

Yeah...this wouldn't be that...more likely a nicely trimmed bar serving labatts...not "small batch"

I probably should have used the term specialty local brews rather than 'small batch'. God I wish I could get something other than Labatts or Molsons at Canada in Epcot. Yuck.

You can, though? I've had Fin du Monde and St-Ambroise there. I don't know if they were seasonal, but lately I've seen more than Molson and Labatt.

Really? YAY. It's been two years since my last trip - going back in less than 2 months, so that's great news! Decent beers, but not the best we have to offer, IMHO

La Fin and Trois pistoles are always there at the cart as far as I know--- and sometimes ephimere...

And.... I need to know where to send my resume...
