Possible Alternative to Chef Mickey's

Hi Everyone!
I'm trying to not overdo the Character breakfasts this year so I picked two, Tusker House and Chef Mickey's. IMHO, Chef Mickey needs to go back to cooking school, and the only reason I would go is because it's easy to get photos with the 'Whole Gang'. Is there another alternative other than Chef Mickey's for this type of photo-op? Are there any Character breakfasts that are not-buffet and more like table service?

Garden Grill at EPCOT. It's AYCE but served family style. The characters come to you- Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale. We love it there! No Minnie though!

It’s not the “whole gang” but the Garden Grove in the Swan is a reasonably priced, easy-to-get-into alternative to Chef Mickey.

The characters (Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale) are at breakfast only on Saturday and Sunday. They are at dinner every night though I think it’s only Pluto and Goofy Sunday through Wednesday.

If you have AAA, you’ll get 20% off the food bill. The food is very good especially at the Seafood Sensation dinner Thursday through Saturday.

Best part of all? No ADR necessary. Walk-ups are welcome. It is within walking distance of Epcot and the Studios, but easy to get to from MK or AK—just take the Swan Resort bus. :)

Yes- we ate there quite a few years ago and it was very good!

Chef Mickey's is the only one I know of that has the "Fab 5" characters. But IMO, Tusker House and their characters are very similar to Chef Mickey's. No Minnie or Pluto, but you do get Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey. So if you're limiting yourself to two character meals only, they are pretty similar in nature. If it were me, I'd opt for Crystal Palace which has better food than Chef Mickey's, or Garden Grill or Ohana which are all you can eat but served family style rather than a buffet.

Several of the princess meals aren't full-on buffets, particularly the Bon Voyage breakfast and Akershus, although obviously also CRT.

Another vote for Garden Grill in Epcot or Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club.
