poss helpful info re VH/VA

Not going to bring up the VH/VA thing again, and not even sure if they still do this, but just in case it's helpful. When VH used to run out of flights, we used to book on VA on our miles. If you then call VH and tell them you're flying VA, you can book the car and hotel at their package holiday rate - which used to work out a lot cheaper than doing it seperately. Admittedly have not travelled Virgin for 4 years (nothing personal to them, they just don't fly here) so they may have stopped it but it always saved us money.

The website doesn't but you can book accommodation only by telephone - I've done it.

Hmm managed to get some quotes and it went full the process like it does with a package - from here.
