portraits at WDW???

Is there still a place to get nice portraits done while at WDW?? I thought there was someplace called Studio M in Downtown Disney, but heard a rumor it was closing. Is it closed?? If so, is there anywhere else to get a nice picture done for a group of ten?

Studio M was in DTD, but a search on the WDW site shows nothing now. I know you can hire a photographer to take your pic at the parks.

There's a really great photographer set up in Epcot on the walkway between FW and WS. We had our pic taken there in January, and it turned out so cool. Spaceship Earth was in the background. He took a ton of different poses. There were only 4 of us, so I don't know if they do a group of ten. He was there in the evenings, but we weren't by there very often during the day to know if he's there then. Good luck!

I sure hope Studio M does't close. They have always done great work. Also, Disney does have professional photographers that you can hire and they will take your portraits in the parks, resorts and etc. I had them send me some info last year and it appeared their work was phenominal, however, it didn't take me long to nix the idea. Didn't really care to sell a kidney to pay for the package. Wish I still had the phone # to give you but I bet if you call one of the Disney numbers, they can give it to you.

If you are just looking to have one photo taken, they have roving photographers at all of the parks (I am assuming AK, b/c I have not been there alot). I have had my pic taken in front of the castle a couple of times. Back in 1999 when I went to DL, we had a group photo taken in front of SB's castle, and there was 7 of us. It turned out great! The pics aren't cheap, but you might be able to just buy one, then scan it when you get home and print up some more on your own!
