So I just downloaded this plugin for lightroom. I'm getting tired of manually skin smoothing with the brush on lightroom and manually brushing eyes and such. This looks like it might be a nice compromise. So does anyone have any pointers for me? So far I k ow how to add and subtract from my face mask. I k ow how to lasso my eyes and correct them which I feel is a bit better than lightrooms preset. I also have messed with the skin adjustment plane also. I haven't used the brush yet. I did a comparison of what I did in lightroom vs portrait perfect. What I'm seeing is portrait perfect smooths more natural bit doesn't over do it and when I feel I'm too smooth in lightroom and back off the amount of the mask I feel it just isn't right. This seems like a nice alternative bit was looking for some tips from those who have used It for a while.

Ah ya how crazy exact should I get with the eye lasso I notice of I go real close to the skin when I do my adjustments it messes up my skin color so. I guess I should be backing off the skin and not trying so hard to make my lasso perfect?

I just started using the trial version as well.
Had the same problem with the eyes, mouth too. Need to make sure not to include skin.

So yes, any pointers would be great. I have used the brush and it works nicely.

So what are the actual setting for the brush? Is it a default or is it the setting u did for the skin and I are just adding another layer to that layer? I'm confused on that. The tutorials are kinda wonky.

Default for blemishes. Bring down the opacity for under-eye circles so it's not as extreme.

Mostly for blemish and evening out of skin tones. The smoothing tool does a good job with that. I think or also does a better job than lowering the clarity slider in lightroom. Correction of skin for infants is covered largely across the web. I have read countless articles on it?

For children, minimal skin correction... but the software does a nice job enhancing their eyes.
