Should tracing be considered Cheating In a portrait drawing? of course this is a matter of opinion but is tracing a drawing for a portrait considered cheating? if so then why do some art classes encourage tracing on a projector. Ive used tracing sometimes when drawing portraits to get accurate placement of the facial features. but when drawing other objects i go freehand.
