Any info and/or advice when comparing Portofino Inn, Stanford Inn or Cortona Inn? We would be looking for a Family Suite and are curious which have the best rate with the most features included in their rates (breakfast, parking, etc...)

The one advantage to the Portofino is its proximity to the 24/7 CVS. Very convenient for snacks, drinks, and sundries. I have heard good things about the family suites there.

I've stayed in a family suite at Stanford and it was fine. I've suggested it to several friends and coworkers looking for large cheap suites. They have a free breakfest but it's really just donuts, bagles, and some fruit like apples and bananas.

I've stayed at the Stanford (last year) and the Portofino (2006) in family suites and they were both nice, but I don't recall that Portofino had breakfast at that time.

Stanford's breakfast was great. Very good selection of stuff, I really enjoyed eating the waffles in the morning or making a PB&J to go with the bread and condiment packets. We liked the 2 bath family suite. Portofino is a bit more fancy, SI is a renovated Comfort Inn so they're not as nice, but definitely fine as a place to sleep and wash up. SI also includes free parking.

PF is close to CVS and 7-Eleven but there is also a few gas stations and Target fairly nearby to SI. It is a longer walk or bus ride, but if you can get a good price on it, SI was great and I enjoyed it. I would pick it again over PF because it was cheaper.
