We are staying 3 nights in November. We are currently booked at PBH club level on an AP rate, but I just read the lounge will be undergoing renovations. We can stay club level at HRH for the exact same price. I would prefer the theming and room size of PBH (it will be 2 adults and 3 kids), but if it will be a diminished experience, we can switch! Any helpful hints?

I would keep your PB reservation.

It sounds as if their secondary place is very well done and you`ll have plenty of space to enjoy the facilities, and seemingly no diminished experience from the regular Club Lounge from all accounts.

HRH Club lounge is very small and does get incredibly cramped at times.

It's not a diminished experience at all. We were there when the club transitioned from the original space to the ballrooms and we liked the ballrooms better. More space to spread out, 2 TVs, closer to outdoor dining area, no carrying around a 3rd card to enter the club to just grab a drink or come back from the restroom. All of the food stayed the same, they might have offered more things after the move to the ballrooms because there was so much more space in the ballrooms. Ask for a room close to the lounge. Many rooms (although still in the villa wing) are VERY far. If you plan on eating meals there and grabbing drinks, it's definitely worth waiting for a closer room. If you are just going to grab breakfast on your way to park and not really use it after that then I would say it doesn't matter where your room is.

Agree with PPs! We were there early last month and absolutely loved PBH club level!! Service, food and atmosphere were all top notch! Plenty of hot food items for both breakfast and ‘dinner’ with good variety. Nice heavy pours on the wine might I add :D We tipped him well!

That is great to hear, we will definitely stay then!
