Portofino - Self Parking Q

Don't recall seeing self-park area for PB ; not sure whether we should valet or not...DH prefers to park himself

Believe i read they have 'covered' parking is it far walk from the main entrance?

Aside from wondering whether valet is essential here, we typically haul our own bags out the last day before we head to the parks (not a big deal @ RP or HR imo)...is it better to just have bell services check them @ this property until we r ready to leave>

When you drive down the drive, before you hit the hotel circle the self parking entrance is to your right. There is covered parking and uncovered. Go into the covered and park near the elevator. So easy!!! I wouldn't really worry about the bags. It is pretty dark down there in the parking lot.

We always bell hop when we check in. Husband drops me off, gives the bags to the bellhop and then he and the kids park the car while I am checking us in. They meet me in the lobby and everybody heads to the room.

When we leave, we always just drag our bags with us. The elevator to the parking garage is just past the ballroom exit. Each level isn't that large, so you are usually never more than a few rows from the elevator. We have never had a problem finding a spot close to the elevator and we always have a huge SUV rented, so need a relative large spot.
