PORTOFINO BAY HOTEL & Luggage

I posted this on the RESORTS forum as well.

We want to stay one night (Friday) at the PORTOFINO BAY HOTEL and go to IOA the next day (Saturday). However, we do not wish to stay at the hotel a second night (Saturday). We are going on a cruise the following day (Sunday) and wish to stay near the port that second night.

Has anyone done this? We would like to know if Portofino will store our luggage until we return to the hotel on the evening after checkout (after we have done the park). We could then pick up our luggage out of storage and drive on down to Port Canaveral? My husband doesn't want to leave the luggage in a rental car.

Yes they will hold your luggage on check-out day.

Hi, no there is no cost for them to hold your luggage. If possible check in as early as you can, to take advantage of fotl, for that day, and the entire day of check out, and they will hold your luggage if your room is not ready when you check in.

Hi, We are not getting into MCO until almost 10:00 pm , and will only have one day at IOA. We are staying at Portofino for the Fast Past. Now my husband says that it will just be easier to stay another night and head to the port on Sunday morning.
